I am Scott Ventura, the installer and owner of Ventura Tile and Marble.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and currently live on the Peninsula.

 

I started off in the tile business working for company that specialized in large restaurant jobs and commercial spaces. I learned a lot from that experience, specifically how to operate smoothly on a large tile installation project.

 

 I was never in love with these types of projects, I really focused my appreciation on smaller residential projects with a lot of details, much like the kitchens and bathrooms of San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley.

 

I have always loved combining tiles of different colors both old and new, whether precise, machine made or handmade tiles - all installed like they just were formed there; all perfectly finished at inside and outside corners, windows, niches and transitions with other finishes.
